SPOTLIGHT
In early 2023, Minnesota architecture firms took home an unusually high number of American Institute of Architects (AIA) design awards. The winning projects include:
Two of the 18 recipients of 2023 AIA Architecture Awards, widely considered the highest honor for contemporary architecture designed by U.S.-licensed architects
Two of the 10 winners of 2023 AIA COTE Top Ten Awards, the most prestigious honor in the country for sustainable design excellence
Two of the five recipients of 2023 AIA/ALA Library Building Awards, the only awards program to recognize entire library structures and all aspects of their design
Each of the six winning buildings is highlighted below in a photo gallery and with links to recent ENTER coverage of the projects.
